Biography

Lawyer in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group

Michèle Frenière focuses her practice on litigation and strategic advice in real estate and construction. She advises and represents various stakeholders at every stage of their projects, particularly with regard to their contracts, liabilities, claims, and calls for tenders. She has been teaching at École Polytechnique since 2011 in the master’s program in civil engineering construction project management, and she has redesigned the construction project management course at École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS). She regularly acts as a speaker and trainer at conferences and in companies. She is also the author of the book “La résiliation unilatérale : un régime unique en constante évolution” (Unilateral Termination: A Unique and Constantly Evolving Regime), published in the Barreau du Québec’s Développements récents en droit de la construction (Recent Developments in Construction Law).
