Biography

Lawyer in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group

Michèle Frenière focuses her practice on litigation and strategic guidance in real estate and construction. She advises and represents various stakeholders at each stage of their projects in the construction industry at every stage of their projects, whether it involves contracts, responsibilities, claims, or procurement processes. She has been teaching at École Polytechnique since 2011 in the master’s program in civil engineering construction project management, and she redesigned the construction project management course taught at the École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS).
She is regularly called upon to speak and train at events and in companies. She is also the author of the book “La résiliation unilatérale : un régime unique en constante évolution” (Unilateral Termination: A Unique and Constantly Evolving Regime), published in the Barreau du Québec’s Développements récents en droit de la construction (Recent Developments in Construction Law).
