Mohammad (Mo) works in the business law group in Montreal.

He represents private and public companies of various sizes, brokers and institutional investors in a wide range of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance in the private and public markets. He also advises reporting issuers on regulatory compliance, continuous disclosure and governance issues.

Mo is also involved in his community, particularly as co-vice president of communications and marketing of Iran-Canada Business Council (ICBC). Before joining DS Avocats, Mo held a position as legal counsel specializing in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and securities for a public consulting firm in strategy and digital technologies in North America.

  • Counsel to a company operating in the oil sector in connection with obtaining financing of over $500 million from a banking syndicate.
  • Counsel to a fast-food franchisee in Canada in connection with its acquisition of its shares by the US-based franchisor.
